Big Beat is a late '90s phenomenon combining Hip Hop and breakbeats with rock vocals and guitars, all within a techno aesthetic. It relies heavily on samples and loops, mixed with pumping repetitive rhythms and melodies. A few famous names of Big Beat are The Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, The Wiseguys, Lo Fidelity All Stars, Indian Ropeman, and Dub Pistols.
