Garland, Judy G People


Judy Garland was born as France Ethel Gumm in 1922 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. She made her film debute in uncredited movie "The Big Revue" (1929). Judy was a famous child star in 1930s, winning popularity with films like "Pigskin Parade" (1936, Sairy Dodd), and "The Wizard of Oz" (1939, Dorothy Gale). In 1950s her film career declined because of her drug addiction and irresponsible behaviour at studios. She focused now to singing and managed to win popularity as a singer for almost two decades. She died 1969 in London of accidental barbiturate overdose.
