OpenSolaris Solaris Unix Operating Systems


OpenSolaris is an open source project, created by Sun Microsystems, Inc., to build a developer community around the Solaris Operating System and related technology. This project is for developers, system administrators, and users who want to develop and improve operating systems. An active User Group community is growing worldwide. Dozens of technology communities and projects are being formed: it has over 12,000 registered community members, of which about 1,000 are Sun employees.
