SIDS Conditions and Diseases Child Health
SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) is more commonly known as "Cot Death" or "Crib Death". Technically it doesn't relate to a specific type of death, rather the term is used to refer to any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy baby under 1 year of age."Reduce the risk" campaigns, designed to promote awareness of key risk factors, have significantly reduced the instance of cot deaths in industrialized countries over the past couple of decades.
