Research

In addition to the ongoing clinical treatment of eye health by clinicians, there are scientists and clinicians that engage in research to understand the normal fuctions of visions as well as the causes of eye disease. This section provides links to organizations and research institutions that organize and fund this kind of research or provide information on the research involved. Sites may "mention" that they have research in progress, but if they do not provide descriptions of the research or disease information etc., then they are not listed in this section. Organizations that provide for information exchange, and fund eye research are also listed in this category. We want to promote eye research awareness with this category.
