Late '80s - early '90s sketch show featuring, amongst other things, extended character studies, elaborate wordplay, spoof vox-pops and mock chat-shows. Written by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. Starring Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie and Deborah Norton (series 1). Appeared first in 1986 as a one-off Boxing Day special. Series first broadcast on BBC1 in January 1989.
