Kyrenia District Cyprus Middle East


One of the original administrative districts of Cyprus, now controlled by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. To the north and West it borders on the coast. To the East, it borders part of Gazimagusa District, and to the south it borders Lefkosa and Guzelyurt Districts. Starting in the east, the land border broadly follows a line south of the Besparmak mountain range. This border runs south of Bahceli, Karaagac, Besparmak, Arapkoy, Gungor, Taskent, Dikmen, Dagyolu, Kilicaslan and Akdeniz to the western coast.
