Adams County is located in northeastern Indiana, south of Fort Wayne. The county seat is Decatur. The population is approximately 34,000, spread over an area of 339 square miles. The county is bounded by Jay, Wells and Allen Counties in Indiana, and by Van Wert and Mercer counties in Ohio.
