Localities

Localities in Vermont are any city, town or any other type of individual municipality. Vermont and its localities are so geographically spread out that sometimes multiple post offices will serve one locality, while one can sometimes serve multiple localities. So how the United States Postal Service divides up the state does not represent the true localities of Vermont. Currently, ODP Editors will not recognize subdivisions of towns or cities, such as neighborhoods, villages, etc., for simplicity's sake. This policy could change in the future, based on the consensus of opinions of visitors and editors of this category of the Open Directory Project.
