The Republic of the Fiji Islands is a group of over 800 islands (of which 106 are inhabited) in the South Pacific Ocean, about two-thirds of the way from Hawaii to New Zealand. It became independent in 1970, after nearly a century as a British colony. This category is for sites emanating from and relating to Fiji.
