Davy, Humphrey History Chemistry


English chemist who discovered of the effects of nitrous oxide, which came to be known as laughing gas. He also undertook the first electrochemical decompositions, isolating potassium, barium, strontium, calcium, and magnesium. Born 1778 - Died 1829
