Carnap, Rudolf C PhilosophersCarnap, RudolfRudolf Carnap (1891-1970). German-American philosopher, a leader among the logical positivists of the twentieth century. He began his career with a focus on the philosophy of science, but later moved to the philosophy of language, especially semantics.
