The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World formed as an association in Los Angeles, California, in 1906, in the wake of the Azusa Street revival. Originally Trinitarian, the PAW split with the Assemblies of God over the issue of baptism in Jesus' name. Thus PAW today is an interracial Oneness Pentecostal denomination. Headquarters are in Indianapolis, Indiana.
