Polo
History claims that the honor of inventing the game of polo belongs to the ancient Persians whose brilliant artifacts often depicted this highly charged, fast-and-furious sport of what can loosely be described as "hockey on horseback."
In truth, this fast-paced, team oriented sport is not widely seen outside the equestrian community except in South America where it is ranked among the most popular equestrian activities.
