Elite Ice Hockey League

The UK Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) is the successor to the UK Ice Hockey Superleague (ISL). It came into being at the end of the 2002-3 season following the collapse of the ISL. It is now the top-level professional ice hockey league in the UK. In the 2004-5 season, it is planned to have competitions between EIHL teams and those of the British National League.
