Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire Municipalities Queensland Australia

Doomadgee was originally known as Dumaji and was located on Bayley Point on the Gulf of Carpentaria. In 1936 after being destroyed by a cyclone the community was relocated to Nicholas River.
