Romanian Romance Italic Indo-European
Romanian is an Eastern-Italic member of the Indo-European language family spoken by approximately 20.5 million people in Romania and as many as 26 million in 16 countries.Romaniain is also know as Romanian, Moldavian and Daco-Romanian.
