Bogomil Heresies Middle Ages By Time Period

The Bogomils were a Gnostic religious community which was thought to have its origin in Bulgaria, but more likely originated in the Near East. They believed that Jesus Christ was was not divine until He was adopted as the God at his baptism and believed that life was a struggle between an evil material god, and a good spiritual god. They are seen as the link between Eastern heresies such as the Paulicians and Medieval European heresies such as the Cathars.
