Hedican, Bret Players National Hockey League Leagues


Bret grew up in Minnesota and played hockey for the St. Cloud State University team. He also played in the 1992 Olympics in Albertville for Team USA, where he met his future wife. He was drafted by the St. Louis Blues and played in the NHL, then was traded to Vancouver in 1994 and played there until his trade to Florida in "the Bure deal". Bret married figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi in July of 2000.
