Sweeney Todd Bands and Artists Glam Rock 1970s
Sweeney Todd was formed in the early 1970s in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by Nick Gilder and Jim McCulloch. Lead singer Gilder left the band in the mid- to late-70s for a solo career and was eventually replaced by (then) 16-year-old Bryan Adams.Best known for the song Roxy Roller, Sweeney Todd disbanded in 1978.
