Pets Great Dane Molosser Group Breeds
Known to much of the world as the Deutsche Dogge (German Mastiff), the Great Dane is an ancient breed. Developed in Germany by crossing sighthounds with mastiffs, they were originally used to hunt wild boar; but today are primarily protective family companions.
